The resume writing process is 8 steps in total and is designed to make the process as smooth and painless as possible! This is an exciting time, and we are honored and humbled to be a part of your job search.
1. Fill out our contact form We will discuss your career goals, current job search, and overall investment in a professionally written resume. Remember, if you have a resume already, send it to us after completing the contact form.
2, You will receive a proposal containing a client contract as well as an invoice. (The contract includes a money-back guarantee and this invoice is tax-deductible up to 2.5% of your annual income (please talk to your accountant, these deductions change yearly). The proposal is a simple e-sign and click-to-pay process. Payment plans are available upon request (50% up front, 50% in 30 days).
2. We will send an email with a questionnaire including a checklist of the documents we are requesting. You will upload your files to your portal.
3. After receiving all the items requested, it’s a 14 calendar day turnaround for your first draft.
4. The First Draft will contain questions that are designed to clarify quantifiable and results-based achievements to ensure you stand out from the competition.
5. The Revision Process includes a 3-5 business day turnaround time for any additional drafts. (If we are starting from scratch, it may take up to 3 drafts to get to the final version.)
6. You will be able to provide feedback and request changes before final approval. Your finalized documents will be delivered to you in editable Word, and PDF formats.
7. LinkedIn Profile Optimization. Once your resume has been finalized, we provide you access to the on-demand LinkedIn for Transitioning Military.
8. Tailored Resume: You will have 6-12 months after your final Primary resume is sent to choose your Tailored resume. (No additional experience will be added to the Primary resume at the time of tailoring.) When you find the job you want to apply for, send us the link and we will tailor your Primary resume and screen-record the process, so that you will know how to tailor your own resume for any future job applications.
